A memorandum agreement “The Economic Empowerment Program” between the Palestinian Embassy and Wafaa Institution

the memorandum agreement was signed by today between the Palestinian embassy in the Lebanese Republic and Wafaa Indonesia Institution and this signing memorandum comes consistently with the initiatives and the programs launched by his Excellency the President Mahmoud Abas to support and help our people in the Palestinian camps in Lebanon, under the guidance of the prime minister Dr. Rami Al Hamdallah, the Arab funds allocated Wafaa Indonesia Institution an amount of 2 million dollar to finance the economic empowerment programs for the poor families in the Palestinian camps in Lebanon, and the program’s aim is to provide loans with no interest for the poor families to make small productive projects where they can improve their economic situations and decrease their living burdens for those families who benefit from the program. The memorandum was signed by the ambassador Ashraf Dabour and Dr. Ezziddine Saswanto, chairman of the board of directors of Wafaa Indonesia, in the presence of Dr. Jawad Naji advisor of the Palestinian prime minister concerning the Arabic and Islamic Funds, and Ali Abou Diak the general security of the Palestinian Cabinet, and Fathi Abou Al Ardat the secretary factions of Fateh Organization the Palestinian liberation in Lebanon, member of the General Secretariat of the federation of the Palestinian women Amina Jebreal, and Nawaf Al Atawinah representative of the Islamic Bank for financing, and Bahjat Saad coordinator of Wafaa Institution in Lebanon.
