“To start up a project in Gaza is a challenge but I overcame it. My family helped me find a good place to establish my pharmacy and make the shelves and main furniture for It.”, said Ihab. Then, I had another challenge to fill the pharmacy with medicine and drugs.”
“I heard of the microfinance project at Islamic Relief and the possibility to get a loan from WAFAA. Elhamdulillah, I was one of those who got a loan from WAFAA to fulfill the needs of my pharmacy.”
Ihab has got Qard Hasan loans so he could make the pharmacy full with all the needs of the patients and customers. He said, “When people come to my pharmacy they find what they need of medicine or health items. I’d like to thank Islamic Relief and WAFAA. Such loans help us start a new successful life because it is the only right way for unemployed graduates to live in dignity.”

Mohammed Fayez Awaad Success Story
Mohammed, a struggling young man seeking to get married, but because of the economic and financial conditions suffered by the people of the Gaza Strip he was unable to do so.
Mohammed is a blacksmith, but his shop needs to be developed and buy some equipment after being damaged by frequent power cuts caused by the suffocating blockade in Gaza.
Mohammed had the idea of a specific cover for his inability to buy equipment, which stopped work, but one of his relatives instructed him to the Wafaa International Foundation, which funds new projects and the development of non-performing projects with a good loan.
Mohammed went and borrowed $ 2,000 to buy the missing equipment and supplies and proceed with his work again.
Mohammed's financial situation has improved and he is able to get married thanks to this project. Therefore, Mohammed wants to thank and appreciate the support role of the International Islamic Charitable Organization in supporting Palestinian families and improving their standard of living.

Omaiyma Abu El Khier
My dream was to establish Al-Usama kindergarten and nursery in Gaza Strip.”, said Omaiyma. “I wanted to provide special care for the children. My hope is to make of a child a free and intelligent human being.”
She added, “I started with myself by making my dream a reality. But I needed finance to support project, I was so happy to know of Islamic Relief and apply for a Qard Hasan which is a non-interest loan. I applied for it and I got the approval.”
“I am very proud of establishing a kindergarten in a short time which became a distinguished one in Gaza Strip and I am so thankful for all those who financed my project and made my dream come true.”, she said happily.
